Rebuilding Together Kansas City has a variety of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. Here are our volunteer opportunities for volunteering:

Minor Home Repair Volunteer: Working alongside one of our project managers, you will assist with a variety of home repair projects, such as painting, landscaping, and more.

Ramp Crew Volunteer: We're looking for those skilled in construction or carpentry to assist with building and installing wheelchair ramps, low-rise steps, handrails, and other more skilled projects.

Trash Crew Volunteer: Help maintain a safe and productive worksite by collecting and removing debris generated during home repair projects. Responsibilities may include gathering lumber scraps, drywall, flooring materials, brush, yard waste, packaging materials, and other project debris and transporting it to designated dumpsters or disposal areas. "Safe at Home" Volunteer: Install grab bars, handrails, bathroom assistive devices, wheelchair ramps, accessible showers, and more. We provide the training you need.

Administrative Support Volunteer: The Administrative Support Volunteer assists the Administrative Director with office and administrative tasks that help Rebuilding Together Kansas City operate efficiently and serve homeowners, volunteers, donors, and community partners. [Learn More]

Rebuilding Day Volunteer: Rebuilding Day is our annual one-day rebuilding blitz when hundreds of volunteers make essential repairs for low-income families.  This event occurs in September. Learn more about Rebuilding Day here.

Rebuilding Day House Liaisons: Rebuilding Together Kansas City is seeking enthusiastic and organized volunteers to serve as House Liaisons during our annual Rebuilding Day. This important volunteer leadership role helps ensure a successful experience for homeowners, volunteer crews, and RTKC staff.
