Rebuilding Day is the flagship program of Rebuilding Together Kansas City. It's a one-day project blitz that mobilizes hundreds of volunteers to complete critical repairs and safety modifications across the community. In 2025, we were able to fix over two dozen homes in a single day with the support of our generous partners and the commitment of over 250 volunteers.

We need you! We are only able to do what we do on Rebuilding Day because of you!

How to Get Involved

1. Identify a crew leader for your group.
2. Let us know your plans to participate by e-mailing info@rebuildingtogetherkc.org.
3. Fill out the information we provide to your crew leader and choose a project site.
4. Have each of your individual volunteers register as a Rebuilding Day volunteer and sign our waiver.
5. Attend a crew leader meeting where you will receive more information and order your t-shirts.
6. Come on Rebuilding Day prepared to make a huge difference in the lives of our community's seniors, low-income families, veterans, and individuals living with disabilities.
7. Fill out some post-project paperwork that gives us information about what you accomplished.
